TSL Android application "Zombie Tsunami" is a free, IAP-based title that has suddenly caught the attention of many Android users. On paper, the game sounds extremely cool, with fun game play and loads of upgrades to collect and use against zombies and other "zombies". However, in reality the game is anything but fun, is ridiculously difficult to complete and is not worth downloading. Don't be fooled by the animated animations and flashy effects, as the game is extremely addictive, though it is equally frustrating as well.
The reason for this is that you cannot download the application from the Google Play store. You have to use an online download site. And I am not talking about just getting a small flash player that can only view a small section of the game at a time, there are special applications to make sure you get the best out of the game. It would have been great if Zombie Tsunami developers simply placed the game on Google Play and allowed users to download it, but sadly that's not the case. The developer of the game apparently wanted to market the game as the best gaming experience possible, while giving players a taste of what to expect. Unfortunately, the game did not live up to that hype.
The "Free" version of the app gives you the basic play, with a couple of levels and the ability to collect upgrades. However, you cannot buy additional characters or use them as you see fit. Instead, the game tries to steal your real money to buy power ups that you never get to use. The game is like using a cookie cutter in order to sell you a cookie cutter. If you really want to play the game, you need to buy the IAP, which is charged to your Google account.
